Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary as well as Loans, Deficiency
Balances, Overdraft Accounts, Hospital, Medical, and Physician
Accounts.
Question #2:

portion of our resources on client recovery. We view our
performance as an investment in our clients for the purpose of
assuring a long term relationship.
Question #3: Does NRC have the
capabilities to report to the Credit Bureaus? NRC
reports to both Equifax and Trans Union. We can provide
automatic reporting after a set time lapse, upon client demand
or selectively on accounts with the ability to pay but have no
intention of honoring.
Question
#4: Is the agency licensed in the States in which it
does business? As a nationwide full service agency, we
are licensed in throughout the USA with no restriction from
collecting in any state.
Question #5: Is NRC in full
compliance with the Federal Debt Collections Practices Act
(FDCPA)? Employees are tested and sign a statement of
compliance with the FDCPA on their first day at work. Each
supervisor acts as a compliance officer monitoring collectors
in addition to their other duties while keeping abreast of any
changes or violations of the law.
Question #6: How do you develop client
goals? Client goals are collectively developed by first
determining a target liquidation rate. Researching client
historical data establishes an aggressive target for the
agency. Once the liquidation percentage is obtained, NRC
assigns adequate resources based on the dollar volume and
number of accounts placed. The number of collectors on a
particular portfolio is raised or lowered to meet the stated
objective.
Question #7:
What is NRC's Disaster recovery process? There is one
system used solely for backup and recovery. The entire system
is set for backup on a daily basis and backs up to the
stand-alone systems hard drive each night. The system hard
drive is capable of holding an entire month of backups before
overwriting the oldest file. In addition to the backup, the
system also performs a backup to tape. The tape is removed on
a daily basis and stored in a safety deposit
box.
Question #8: What
reports do Clients receive on a monthly basis? Once an
account is downloaded into the collection software, an
acknowledgement is generated and mailed to the client within
24 hours. NRC generates statements with payments to Agency,
payments to Client, and NSF once a month. Upon the request of
the Client, NRC has the ability to produce a status of
accounts report with an alphabetical list of all accounts
placed with their Agency and a description of the current
status. All closed and returned accounts are kept on record
for three years.
